Healthy Banana Bread

HEALTHY banana bread, anyone?

This recipe is easy to throw together, yummy, and contains zero refined ingredients. Ready to dig into this wholesome goodness? You can watch the full recipe video for demo here, and all recipe details are below!

 

RECIPE:
– 2 mashed bananas
– 1/4 cup nut butter
– 2 eggs (pasture raised preferred)
– 1/4 cup maple syrup
– 1 tsp vanilla
– 3/4 cup oat flour
– 1 tsp baking powder
– 1/2 tsp baking soda
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 1 tsp cinnamon
– 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

1. Mix all wet ingredients in a bowl. Set aside.
2. Mix all dry ingredients together in separate bowl (excluding chocolate chips, if using)
3. Pour wet ingredients into dry; mix well. (some clumps are okay!!) Fold in chocolate chips (if using)
4. Grease a bread pan
5. Pour batter into bread pan
6. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
7. Bake for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean
8. Let cool in bread pan for 10 min
9. Let cool on cooling rack for 20 min
10. ENJOY!!!

    I’m going to try this recipe this week. I love that you use nut butter and just starting baking with that ingredient. It’s amazing!
