Holiday Gift Guide No. 1: The Foodie

Uncategorized

Hi guys!

In need of some gift-giving inspo for that foodie in your life? I got you covered. These gifts are all fun kitchen tools & gadgets that any food lover would appreciate. They’re also all at different price points – but one thing I love to do (for more expensive items & gifts) is to go in on them with a friend or family member to split the cost!

Instapot– This is SUCH an awesome kitchen gadget to have. The possibilities are seriously endless..you can cook so many foods and dishes in hardly any time at all. And you can even make your own homemade yogurt with this!

Dutch Oven – I use mine ALL the time. You can make all kinds of dishes, soups, stews, and chillis right on your stove top with this. It’s also one of those things I wouldn’t have necessarily bought for myself (we got it on our wedding registry) but I am SO happy that I have it.

Veggie Spiralizer – these are so fun! This is definitely a must have for anyone who likes to experiment in the kitchen. It’s also a great way to add veggies to meals in a totally different way – perfect for picky kiddos!

Cast Iron Waffle Pan – who doesn’t love homemade buttermilk waffles? With this handy cast iron gadget, you can whip up fresh hot waffles on the stove top! (or even over a fire, if camping is your thing LOL)

The Best Wine Opener – Technically all foodies are not also winos, but if your anything like me you really like food and really like wine. But you know what I don’t like? Traditional wine openers. This bad boy makes popping your fav bottle of red or white super simple & quick. I absolutely love this tool!

Sourdough Starter Kit – you’ll need this, this, this, and this. Sourdough starter is basically a live, active culture – you can make sourdough bread from it (and about a million other things) without the use of any yeast. Not only is it fun to experiment with (and a challenge for even the most seasoned cook/baker) it’s the gift that keeps on giving!

Pizza Stone – if you’re going to make pizza at home, you’ve got to have a pizza stone. Pizza stones conduct heat well and get super hot, which allows you to get that coveted crispy crust! Yummmm.

Immersion Blender – this is definitely one of those gadgets I wouldn’t have gotten myself (another registry gift) but I’m surprised how often I actually use it (and how much I love it haha). I love using it to make creamy soups, and it is so handy for scrambling up a bunch of eggs super fast – this makes them so fluffy!

What are you favorite items to gift the foodies in your life? Let me know down below!!

Happy gifting!

xx Becca

Hey Becca, love all your content. Do you have a specific spiralizer you recommend? I get overwhelmed reading reviews. I just want one that can handle sweet potatoes as well as zucchini, etc.

The one I have is really small & doesn’t have a handle, which is why I didn’t link that one/wouldn’t necessarily recommend it! I think the ones that have a handle & are at a downward angle help the most with spiralizing!

Ha! I obviously had too much turkey or something! I didn’t realize you had linked one! But I got it now. Thanks 🙂
